Drop-In: Tarti Party
‘Drop-In’ on the 4th of February from 6pm for a casual and un-ticketed ‘Tarti Party’ serving traditional Alpine tartiflette, made with potatoes, reblochon cheese, lardon and onions, along with add-your-own cornichons and green salad.
February’s Drop-In will feature a carefully selected list of wines from the Alpine regions of France and Switzerland. These mountainous regions grow their grapes in cooler climates at high altitude, and as a result, are best known for high-acid whites and lighter bodied reds. The list on the night will include an earthy, unfiltered orange Amphore Klettgau, grown in the Swiss Alps; Didier Grappe Savagnin Ouille, a fresh, crisp white with high minerality; Domaine de la Touraize Ploussard, a light, lively young and juicy red made using regional grapes in Jura; and Yves Duport Pinot Noir, a delicate pinot from Bugey, well rounded with berry flavours.
Try as little or as much as you like, these and more by the glass and bottle.
See you there!
