‘Drop-In’ on the 19th of November from 6pm for a casual and un-ticketed night. This time, there will be a focus on the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, famed for its fine wines and exceptional produce.
Head Chef Karan Ghosh will be serving a risotto with wild mushrooms; Piedmontese meats and cheeses; and for pudding, a traditional Italian hazelnut and chocolate cake, ‘Torta di nocciola’.
We’ll be cracking open a typically full-bodied Barolo Serralunga DOCG from Boasso, with dark fruit and spicy notes; a complex, oak-aged Barbera d’Alba DOC from Umberto Fracassi; and La Ca’Nova’s Dolcetto DOC – bold and juicy. For the white wine drinkers, we’ll have La Raia’s Gavi Riserva DOCG, a clean, green, white, with a gentle hint of peaches and wild mint. Wines will be available by the glass or bottle.
Saluti and see you there!
