When we think of Champagne, we often conjure up images of the giant, established houses with familiar brand names. Yet grower Champagne, or ‘growers’ — defined as single producers who own and tend to their own vineyards, as opposed to sourcing grapes from elsewhere — have become the new custodians of craft-led wines in the region.
We’ve chosen some of our favourite sparkles from a small selection of talented growers, just in time for the festive season. Just ask for our little black book of treasures at the bar.
